Eddie is really bent in running again this coming 2010 National Elections! To some it’s bad news especially to the corrupt individuals, but to the Filipinos who love the Philippines as a nation, it must be good news to them! If new face in politics is the clamor of the Philippine electorate, it must be Bro. Eddie Villanueva – Presidentiable on 2010 Philippine National Election, no more no less. He has no political baggage to begin with. No debts to pay to any politicians or to any powerful individual in the country. Bro.Eddie’s successful running of the Jesus Is Lord Church Worlwide Multi-Ministry having 43 chapters in different countries is a testament of his proven leadership. A legitimate businessman-preacher who runs and owns several companies including Zoe TV 11. And I think, his number one qualification is his genuine love of the country and the Filipino people coupled with his integrity and proven track record as a leader. I like it when he said “This world is too poor to buy my convictions based on truth, justice and righteousness.” I’ve also heard him mentioning many times Edmund Burk’s popular quote “The only necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” He speaks more from the heart not from the head though he has both. I would like to publish here one of the views I got from a blog. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get the commentators name but I hope that this will enlighten all Filipinos who loves God and country. Filipinos who are hungry for genuine CHANGE. Why should Bro. Eddie Villanueva run for President in the 2010 National Elections? The Philippines today is suffering so much from poverty, injustices, joblessness, corruption, hopelessness, apathy, and disbelief that change can actually happen to the nation. Our country has hit rock bottom, and this can only be remedied once a person will arise and stand before the nation with unquestionable moral ascendancy, righteous political will, a non-traditional political leader but has the capacity to change and transform the nation through a sensible and sound programs of government that will truly address the issues of the country especially the “masa”. Moral Character Bro. Eddie was transformed by the grace of God from a militant student leader, political radical activist-communist-atheist to an evangelist that has changed the lives of Filipinos all over the country and the world. Bro. Eddie cannot be bough tbecause he once said that “the world is too poor to buy his convictions ad principles based on truth, justice and righteousness.” Educator, Economist and Broadcaster Bro. Eddie finished Economics from Philippine Polytechnic University (PUP), was a consistent academic scholar and was hired to teach even without his diploma. He taught his students economics and finance, management, cooperatives, political economy, love for country and the need for social transformation thru the philosophies of Marx, Lenin and Mao. He was the longest sitting University Regent of Polytechnic University of the Philippines without receiving a single centavo for his services because he allotted it for scholarship funds of poor students. Enrolled at the UP College of Law but did not finish because he was included in the most wanted list of the AFP during Martial Law. He is currently the host of “Diyos at Bayan” and “Jesus the Healer” programs being aired at ZOE11 and GMA7. He has a deep understanding of the root causes of the problems of our country right now. Shepherd Leader He is the founder and overseer of a worldwide movement that started from fifteen students of PUP and now has exploded to millions with chapters all over the country and in 45 countries all over the world. This is now called the Jesus is Lord Church Worldwide Movement or JIL. He also leads a lot of inter-faith movements and socio-political organizations. He has the heart of a true shepherd leader that gives hope everyday to men, women and youth. Corruption Warrior Bro. Eddie during his years as student activist was offered blank checks just to stop the rallies that he organized for the workers who were paid unjustly. But no businessmen succeeded to buy him, his principle, his fight for justice and equality and love for the masses is indeed rooted in his veins that no amount of money can buy it. His entire life, he was offered sumptuous amount of money just to get his support and cooperation but he never compromised his beliefs. A person who was never bought by a single peso can literally combat corruption in this country. Believes in the Filipinos Bro. Eddie’s nationalism was rooted since his college days and even up to now. He is willing to die for the cause that he believes in. His advocacy remains as “Diyos at Bayan” and “Tunay na Pagbabago para sa Pilipinas”. Last November 2007, He, Sis. Dory and the JIL Church saved eight young Filipinas from the sex den in Malaysia. He made sure that the young OFW’s were freed and came home to the Philippines. They are now leading reformed lives because of the compassionate heart of JIL and Bro. Eddie. He believes in the innate goodness of Filipinos to effect change in the nation. He has the heart for all Filipinos from all walks of life. Symbol of Change Only a changed man can speak of change for the nation. Bro. Eddie’s experience and encounter with Jesus Christ is an unquestionable fact of the mercy of God through this man. He is called by God as the David of this nation who will fight the Goliaths of this country all in the name of bringing honor to God and hope for the Filipinos. He continues to challenge the powers that be because of the cause that God gave him to fulfill so that the Philippines can arise and reach the promised land. Bro. Eddie is the right person who can speak about changing the Philippines to a great nation of the world. The Next Greatest President of the Philippines. Bro. Eddie was born with a purpose. He is a gift to the Philippines and the world. He is tasked to launch a crusade and war for transformation in this country at the right time. And we believe that time has come that Bro. Eddie will offer himself to the Filipino nation and lead towards genuine change. He has always been consistent of his advocacy, he has never faltered. He belongs to the ranks of modern day heroes that has inspired and touch others with his own life. It is in this clamor that we, hopeful individuals, hungry for change call on Bro. Eddie Villanueva to run for President in the next 2010 elections. He is the only way. He remains to be a light in this very dark moment in our history. Finally! Change is achievable with Bro. Eddie! |
