bicol is now experiencing heavy rains and strong winds. this will continue until after midnight as Santi makes a landfall in the Polilio-Infanta area. expect violent winds and intense rain in the inner bands of the storm particularly in areas to be directly traversed by the storm. if you have friends or relatives in metro manila, it is advisable to remind them to take all the necessary precautions against the effects of heavy rains, strong winds and flooding associated with a fast moving storm.

Santi spared storm weary N/C Luzon as it veered southward barely brushing Metro Manila, making a landfall somewhere near Daet, Camarines Norte. It is now pounding Southern Quezon, particularly areas in the Bondoc Peninsula and is expected to cross through the island provinces of Marinduque & Mindoro in the next few hours.
